1. General

 

The following conditions apply for all contracts, deliveries, and other services. Mayenne Nelen is established at maisstraat 35 in Gent, registration BE 0891380213. The contract shall be governed by the laws of Belgium. We operate a complaints handling procedure which we will use to try to resolve disputes when they first arise. In placing your order you accept the following general terms and conditions. When we have received your order you will receive an e-mail confirming your order. We reserve the right not to deliver in the event that the requested product is not available. Should we be unable to deliver in accordance with the terms in the confirmation of order we will contact you and give you the opportunity to cancel the order.

 

To order goods through this website you must be at least 18 years or older.

 

2. Right to Return

 

All orders placed may be cancelled within 24 hours without indication of any reasons. Cancellation has to be done by e-mail: mayenne@mayenne-nelen.com.This will be confirmed by e-mail and in case of payment, the billed amount will be returned.

 

3. Ordering

 

All prices indicated are Euro amounts. Mayenne Nelen reserves the right not to accept the order if an item is not available.

If Mayenne Nelen is not able to execute an order, Mayenne Nelen will inform you as quickly as possible.

 

4. Delivery and Shipping Costs

 

As a rule the processing time of your order is 4 workdays (ex shipping time) after receipt of payment, if the goods are in stock.

 

If the goods are not in stock a delivery time will be noted in the confirmation you receive by e-mail.

 

Please note that whilst we endeavour to show an accurate image, you are advised that there may be variations due to handcraft between the actual goods you receive and the image shown on the website.

Variations of colour between actual good and image shown on your monitor can be caused by the settings of your system. You have the right to return the goods within 7 days as mentioned in article 8: Instructions on Legal Right to Cancellation.

 

If the delivered items have obvious material or production defects, which may include transport damage, please complain to us of such defects immediately via e-mail or telephone. However, even if you neglect to make such complaint, your legal rights remain unaffected. In case of material or production defects, Mayenne Nelen will replace the damaged item. If this claim is unvalid, shipping costs will be billed. The goods will be delivered to the last known address of the recipient. Recipient is obliged to send Mayenne Nelenany changes of delivery address.

 

5. Shipping & delivery

 

All orders will be sent by DPD or BPOST and are insured. Notification is sent via e-mail. Packages within the Netherlands can be tracked via www.tnt.nlwith the help of the notification number sent to you via e-mail once the package has left our studio.

 

Orders outside Belgium:

The total cost of your items ordered (in Euro) plus shipping fees as displayed on the web will be billed to you. This does not include any taxes, duties, import fees or customs fees charged by your local government. As customs policies vary widely by country, we cannot anticipate what fees are levied once the merchandise reaches your country. Please contact your local government or post office for more information. For countries that are not displayed on the country list delivery cannot be guaranteed. 6. Payment

Secure payments are made through the website and are redirected to your preferred payment provider. We accept the following payment options:

7. Retention of Ownership

 

The goods remain the property of Mayenne Nelen untill payment is made in full.

 

8. Instructions on Legal Right to Cancellation

 

Right of return: Within one week, without indicating any reason, you can return the goods received. This time period begins at the earliest upon receipt of the goods.

 

This is what you do:

send an e-mail with your details including the invoice number and bankaccount number. Then send the goods back in their original box.

 

The return (price) + postal costs you made, will be at your expense when returned. Please note that shipping costs made for returning the goods, are at your own risk and expense.

 

Please note that the returned goods must have no sign of usage and must be in a condition that corresponds to our checking the goods. If the goods have deteriorated due to a more extensive use, we reserve the right to demand compensation. After receiving the goods, Mayenne Nelen will check the goods and credit your invoice.

After receiving and checking the goods, Mayenne Nelen will credit your invoice excl. postal costs within 10 days.

 

9. Consequences of Return

 

In case of a legitimate return, any payments, goods, or services provided by either side are to be returned and compensation made for any benefits derived (e.g. benefits of use). In case of deterioration of the goods, Mayenne Nelen can demand compensation. This does not apply if the deterioration of the goods is attributable only to the checking of the goods. Otherwise, you can avoid liability to provide compensation by not using the goods like an owner and by avoiding anything that impairs their value.

Is it possible to place an order by email?

 

You can send us an e-mail with your order. Including the product name, the colour, your name and address details. You will receive an order confirmation with the payment amount (including shipping costs) and delivery time.

 

Please note that your order will be processed after receiving your payment into our bank account. Any additional costs involving the direct bank transfer have to be paid by the buyer.

Delivery

 

How long does it take to ship my order?

 

All items on the webshop are in stock. The regular processing time of your order is 4 workdays (shipping time excluded) after receipt of payment. All pieces are sent by Belgian courier DPD or BPOST. Shipping charges will be calculated automatically and can be viewed by ticking your continent during check out. Transit time depends on the destination and customs speed.

 

Please note our shipping costs don’t include any customs, taxes and or import duties for international shipping. These have to be paid by the customer. It depends on your country’s customs whether or not duties apply.

 

I need my purchase delivered really fast. What are my options?

 

If you prefer an express service, please contact our office by sending us an email. We will do our best to arrange an express service for you. We will inform you about the extra costs and you will be requested to pay for them upfront. We will not be accountable for any delay in delivery times.

 

I haven’t received my package yet. What can I do?

 

Please send us an e-mail and we will give you a track&trace number, so you can trace down your order.

 

My purchase is a gift. Can I ship to anyone else?

 

During the payment process you can choose for a different shipping address then the billing address, so you are able to surprise someone!

 

Can I return my order afterwards?

 

If you are not happy with your goods that were purchased online, please return them to us within 7 days after receipt. We will be happy to exchange or refund, providing the goods are received in perfect condition and in their original packaging. Regrettably, items that are custom made to your requirements can not be refunded or exchanged unless they are defective or faulty. On receipt of the returned goods we will give you a refund of the amount paid for the goods. We do not refund the original delivery charge.
